Accessibility statement
How we make Diverge easy to use, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
Last updated: 23 September 2026
The short version
- We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard
- Diverge is designed for neurodivergent people first: calm, predictable and clear
- The website works with a keyboard and with screen readers
- Tell us about any barrier and we will fix it or help you another way
1. Our approach
Diverge is built for neurodivergent people first. That means no pop-ups, autoplay, flashing or countdown timers, the same layout on every page, plain words, and honest details about how every product feels, sounds and smells.
2. What you can do on this website
- Reach every link, button and form field with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are
- Use a screen reader
- Zoom in to 200% or more without losing any content
- Keep motion low: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations stay off or gentle
- Control the homepage fidget tray with its own Motion and Sound buttons. Sound is off unless you turn it on
- Contact us by email or a simple form. You never need to phone
Use the Display button at the top of every page to choose larger text, calmer colours, high contrast, extra spacing and reduced motion. Your choices are remembered on your device.
3. Known issues
We are working on these:
- Some product photos from suppliers may not have full descriptions for screen readers yet. We are adding them.
- The card payment step is provided by our payment provider and may not meet the same standard. If it gets in your way, email orders@shopdiverge.com and we will help you order another way.
4. Feedback and help
If anything on this website is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email access@shopdiverge.com. A real person will reply within 1 working day.
Please tell us the page and what happened. Bullet points are fine.
5. If you are not happy with our response
You can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for free advice.
6. How we test
We check the website with a keyboard only, with a screen reader, at 200% zoom, with reduced motion turned on, and on phones. This statement was written on 23 September 2026. Last full test: [date – before launch].
