Cookie policy
The small files this website stores in your browser, and why.
Last updated: 23 September 2026
The short version
- We only use cookies that the shop needs to work
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies
- If we add optional cookies in future, such as analytics, they will stay off until you choose to allow them
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. They help the website remember things, like what is in your basket. Some websites also use similar browser storage, which we explain below.
2. Cookies we use
These are needed for the shop to work, so they do not need your permission. You can still block them in your browser, but then your basket and checkout will not work.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Remember what is in your basket | Until you close your browser |
| wp_woocommerce_session_… | Keeps your basket and checkout working | 2 days |
| wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_… | Keep you logged in to your account | Until you close your browser, or 14 days if you choose to stay logged in |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Checks your browser accepts cookies when you log in | Until you close your browser |
When you pay by card, our payment provider Stripe sets two cookies to help stop fraud: __stripe_mid (lasts 1 year) and __stripe_sid (lasts 30 minutes). They are only used for security, so they do not need your permission.
3. Settings saved in your browser
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| dv-fidget-mode | Remembers the fidget tray setting you chose on the homepage (Calm, Focus or Play) | Until you clear your browser data |
This is only saved when you choose a setting, and it never leaves your device.
4. Optional cookies
We do not use any optional cookies at the moment. If we add them in future, for example to understand which pages are most helpful, they will stay off until you choose to allow them, and we will list them here.
5. Controlling cookies
You can see and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking all cookies will stop the basket and checkout from working.
